Lamborghini Aventador ”Las Americas” by DMC

Man, this was really something special. A Lamborghini Aventador is a stunning car, but this one has been spoilt with Forgiato Wheels and a Fie Exhaust making a great car even greater. This is the DMC Edizione GT Lamborghini Aventador Las Americas. Just look at it.

The massive V12 has been given a lot of TLC. DMC did manage to bolt on a twinturbo bumping the power up to an impressive 988Hp. Its also quite light, and with the serious amont of carbon fibre used on its sexy body this Lamborghini Aventador really flies when put in crazy mode. Just look at it. Its awesome. The perfect Aventador?

McLaren F1 – Andy takes it to 391 km/h

This is still, after 25 years an amazing performance. Seven minutes of absolutely brilliance, when Andy Wallace hit 391 km/h in the street legal McLaren F1.

391 km/h with 670 horsepower, that is still sensational. What a speed run. Gordon Murray did what no one else could, creating this absolute gem of a car.

This is not a car you will see every day. It’s extremely rare, and only 150 cars were made. It is a Lamborghini Diablo Jota Edition 30. This absolutely brutal Lamborghini, designed by maestro Marcello Gandini had amazing performance and design. Especially in this dark purple paintwork. It still stunning, and a technical achievement for Automobili Lamborghini.

It’s a large car, 4,5 meters in length and very wide. But it is not as heavy as you might think, it actually only weighs 1450 kilo. Compare this to the little Mercedes SLK that is 50 kilos heavier.

The Lamborghini Diablo Jota packs a mighty punch from the fantastic mid mounted 5,7 liter V12 engine. The power is immersive, 595 horsepower is waiting to be released when the driver stomps the gas pedal. It has torque to pull a train (well, 639 Nm to be exactly) and the full 595 horses sets free at 7300 rp/m. The sound is glorious, and when the car accelerated hard, I almost had trouble holding the camera steady.

The sprint to 100 km/h takes just 3,9 seconds. That’s fast even today. In 1995 the Lamborghini Diablo Jota ED30 was ludicrously fast. Top speed is crazy, 340 km/h (211 mph/h) and 0-1000 m takes just 20,1 seconds.

This red Ferrari F50 is quite a masterpiece. The hottest supercar you could buy in 1995. It’s basically a F1 car for the street. The Ferrari F50 is sleek and fast, and in the back rests a mighty power plant. The 4,7 liter 12 cylinder bundle of joy produces a staggering 515 horsepower. With the pedal to the metal the F50 eagerly will reach a top speed of 325 km/h. amazingly fast back in 1995. It accelerated like a spaceship, 0-100 km/h took just 3,7 seconds. Ferrari made just 349 of these, making it a very rare car and a true collector’s item.
